MEDIPACS to Present at Invest Southwest - VCIR 2011 Fall Conference

Medipacs is one of 14 finalist to present at the Invest SouthWest Capital Conference on November 2-4th. Selected from 135 applicants, Medipacs will demonstrate their polymer based drug infusion pump to more than 100 top angel investors in the South-West.

Wireless reaches into health care arena
Imagine a world where a bandage stuck to a patient's chest lets a doctor monitor the heart rhythm remotely, or a woman uses a hand-held ultrasound device to perform a breast exam at home, or a small disposable drug pump records the exact amount of medicine it dispenses into a hospital patient and transmits the information to the nearest nurses station.

Medipacs has received The Association of University Research Parks' Innovation Award for 2009, which is presented annually to a company located in a research or science park “that has produced a substantial and meaningful innovative product or service". In recognition, The University of Arizona Office of University Research Parks distributed the enclosed press release this morning.
