Medipacs To Present at Bio 2006 in Chicago .

Medipacs LLC a Tucson, AZ. Biotech Company will be making two presentations of its advanced infusion and drug delivery technology at the Bio2006 in Chicago .

Bio Members are involved in the research and development of healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products. The exhibit at BIO 2006 will be the largest gathering of biotechnology exhibitors in history.

A presentation by Marie Wesselhoft , Director of Business Development will be at the

BIO 2006 Arizona Lecture Series at the Arizona Pavilion Booth 1581 April 11 th at 4:00-4:30pm . Medipacs is striving to enhance and improve the quality of life and care for patients by developing advanced infusion pump technology to provide mobile, accurate low cost drug and fluid delivery systems.

Medipacs is developing the next generation of medical pump and drug delivery devices that will interact with the patient, autonomously monitoring, mixing and delivering drugs and fluids according to the patients needs. Future devices are in the form of pre-dosed patches, ambulatory monitors with interactive pumps, artificial organs and bioreactors.

This platform technology provides digital control of fluid delivery, testing and mixing in application scaleable product packages, for example continuous glucose monitoring integrated with an insulin pump.

The second will be a poster presentation held at the Innovation Corridor Scientific Poster Session on April 12 th from 9:00am-12:00pm. Innovation Corridor provides a unique opportunity for researchers to share their research aimed at solving problems and/or addressing unmet needs with worldwide industry leaders focused on agriculture, environment, health-care, and the biotechnology industry. The objective of the session is to foster world-class collaborations among academia, early stage research organizations, and industry.

Among the attendees will be former President Bill Clinton, Journalist Neil Cavuto, CEO's of Medical device companies such as Baxter and Abbott Medical.
